Actually, people who only care about just 2 or 3 words in a song, think that MCR is an Emo band or such, and is all the opposite, as the band leader (Gerard Way) said, they don't like emo guys or such, actually yes, their videos were all about dead stuff and their lyrics (in all the 3 past albums, not in the last one) were kinda "emo", but if u read them carefully, they make fun of the death and bad things, they take it all as a joke, and actually they give hope.
I love this band almost more than anything in the world, their music gives sense to my life, well, i think everybody loves a band like that, and if u dont, u should!
If u wanna know why i say that this band will save ur life i'll let u hear 2 videos, listen carefully to the lyrics!

"Basically, it’s never been accurate to describe us. Emo bands were being booked while we were touring with Christian metal bands because no one would book us on tours. I think emo is Fucking garbage, it’s bullshit. I think there’s bands that unfortunately we get lumped in with that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us emo".
